Before qualifying as a Surveyor, I served for 20 years in the Royal Air Force as a Logistics Officer. I have served around the world in a variety of different environments and in a wide range of roles from supply chain management to urgent operational planning. 

This has provided me with wealth of skills, including a sense of professionalism alongside the ability to problem solve and analyse information thoroughly, instilling a desire to deliver the best results possible. I continue to harness all these to ensure I deliver the highest quality surveying service I possibly can to all my clients.

My building surveying journey

As a result of living in many houses during my Service career and whilst renovating and repairing a number of my own over the years, I have seen construction techniques change, for better and for worse, and seen how people adapt their homes to suit their needs.  

I have also seen how buildings behave over time, what can happen below the surface and what the longer-term implications can of this can be. 

I understand it can be stressful buying a new home and the last thing you want is for an unseen problem to emerge shortly after moving in. My aim is to minimise some of the uncertainty and risk commonly associated with the home buying process. To do this I will use all my knowledge and experience to provide you with a high quality inspection with comprehensive analysis of my observations and written in a clear and understandable report.
